OBIEE Report Developer
a. Must have 7+ yrs of experience in OBIEE 11g and OBIEE 10g (atleast 2 years 0n 11g is a MUST )
b. Very strong experience in developing OBIEE reports and Repository (.rpd) at three layers (Physical Layer, Business Model &
Presentation Layer)
c. Must have at least 3-4 end to end requirement gathering experience of Oracle BI solution (OBIEE/OBIA)
d. Must have had extensive experience in requirement gathering, rationalization of requirement and creation of functional &
Technical specification.
e. Should be proficient in creating reports and dashboards using Time Series Objects, Interactive Dashboards with drill-down
capabilities using page and dashboard prompts, Security Setup (groups, object and data level)
f. Should be able to create and configure Web Catalog Objects (Dashboard, Pages, Folders, Reports)
g. Expert in debugging, optimizing and Performance Tuning of Oracle BI Repository & Dashboards / Reports
h. Experience in setting up a Multi-User Development Environment (MUDE).
i. Should be able to fine tune the query performance
j. Expert in creating Calculation Measures and Dimensions, using Initialization Blocks and Variables (Session and Repository), creating
aggregate tables, adding multiple sources, executing direct Database requests, Implementing Security Setup (groups, object and data
level), LDAP, External Tables , Single sign on (SSO) etc.
k. Most importantly he/she should be able to work with users on ad-hoc basis showing them how to create reports, training and
teaching them the tricks of the trade on report creation, working on Proof of concepts and putting something together quick and dirty
to evaluate whether the user requirements can be built using OBIEE layer?
