6-8 years experience designing and developing on Oracle database.
A hands on role with system development and design as well as team lead
Experience with SQL and PL/SQL
Experience in DB and Query tuning
Experience migrating legacy applications to a new platform
Job Description
Upgrade existing system to Oracles Business Intelligence Publisher. BI Publisher is Oracles latest direction in reporting and is a part of its overall Business Intelligence Application.
Interact regularly with client to design, build and implement customized reporting
Build/Maintain interfaces for database as well as other applications, including dashboard with Adobe Flex client, Java N-Tier and Oracle DB, and including vendor data interaction
Monitor and maintain critical overnight process. Build out and improve system processes through scripting languages such as PERL and CSH
Demonstrated Decision-making abilities
Ability to Motivate & Inspire team members.
Able to develop team to ensure consistent delivery
Access to US managers on a day to day basis building investment systems.
Scope is to have both technical and business domain expertise
Additional Skills Preferred:
Oracle Certifications.
Knowledge on shell scripting, PERL, and JAVA
Experience working with business users throughout the SDLC, from analysis through design, build, test and deployment.
Knowledge of Internal Auditing and the US Sarbanes-Oxley Act
Experience with International (USA) Clients
Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills
Basic Financial Knowledge
