As a key member of Information Technology group, the analyst will work closely with IT and business counterparts on resolving issues /bugs as well as delivering solutions to meet the needs of various business and functional areas. In this position, the individual will work to provide business process support and continuous process improvements related to Oracle supply chain modules. They will work with various IT and business user groups in defining, prioritizing and executing process and system enhancements. Responsibilities: * Provide day-to-day application support for Oracle R12 SCM applications in a multi-site, multi-user, global environment. * Analyze issues and understands their business impact * Take ownership of actions and follow through on commitments * Work within IT / with Oracle to ensure quality application support and delivery * Understand user-provided business requirements to create technical specifications and solutions * Deliver technical and non-technical solutions that both satisfy the business user and conform to the technical architecture. Required Skills: * Must have worked on Oracle Order Management, Shipping, BOM, Inventory, Shop floor, ASCP/MRP and have knowledge on supplier integration models * Thorough understanding of Manufacturing Business processes and supply chain planning is preferable * Excellent technical knowledge of Oracle SCM database tables and hands on experience in Discoverer Reports & PL/SQL * Strong verbal, written communication skills * Self-directed and self-motivated to solve problems quickly and creatively Required Experience: * Minimum 5 years of IT and business/industry work experience with at least 2-3 years of experience in Oracle supply chain modules including order management, shop floor manufacturing & ASCP * Qualification: Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent degree.
