Job Title: SE / SSE - Oracle erp Developer
Summary of Position
ummary of Position
The developer develops, tests, and documents enterprise solutions which meet internal or external needs. They understand user requirements and functional specifications and can develop software or solutions which meet these needs and specifications. They follow a development methodology and comply with relevant best practices and regulations.
Key Requirements
3+ years of experience in Oracle ERP development (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing)
Strong analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to proactively identify edge cases
Demonstrated ability to take a defined problem and develop an algorithmic solution
Primary Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain software systems which align with business objectives, support a cooperative strategy among co-developers and teams, and follow well established good programming practices.
· Implement custom systems and modify or configure existing systems.
· Troubleshoot issues with systems using analytical skills to identify and resolve the root cause.
Key Knowledge Areas
Must Have
· Strong knowledge in PL/SQL development
· Strong knowledge in Oracle Report programming
· Good in Oracle XML Publisher
· Knowledge in any of the modules in Finance, Manufacturing and Supply Chain Management processes.
Nice To Have
· Oracle Forms programming
· Knowledge in Oracle Workflow, Unix Shell Scripting, OAF, ADF will be an added advantage.
· Knowledge in performance tuning.
· Knowledge of multi tiers environments
· Design and develop customization using the Oracle eBusiness technologies
· R12 experience a plus
· Knowledge of development practices including source control, unit testing, and continuous integration
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent.
