Oracle Apps DBA Consultant (4-14 yrs) Hyderabad (Enterprise - SAP/Oracle) - Hyderabad - 1) Candidate must have more 24/7 remote administration support experience and with experience of Leading big teams. 2) Oracle core DBA skills for supporting database architectures of Oracle 10g/11g/12c 3) Oracle Applications 11i/R12 Maintenance , Patching, Performance tunings and System administration. 4) Expert understanding of the Oracle Application Architecture and experienced in Oracle Application upgrades and disaster recovery plans 5) Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills for the Oracle Application databases. 6) Oracle Real Applications Cluster (RAC) experience 8) Parallel concurrent processing for concurrent managers 9) Strong Unix background and shell scripting skills 10) Capacity planning 11) Production and development database support 12) Performance tuning is added advantage. 13) Good Knowledge on RMAN for Backup and Recovery. 14) Database cloning skills including Rapid clone. 15) Must be easily understood and possess excellent English. communication skills, both verbal and writing skills. 16) Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines. 17) Proven ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence in the IT groups knowledge of and concern for, users business needs. 18) Experience in managing multiple databases/Instances/Servers/Applications and huge Team Members Roles and Responsibilities: 1) 24/7 Apps DBA reguler support. 2) Database Management: Install/Create database, Database Refresh, Database Administration, Database backups/recovery and Database Migration. 3) Application Management: Managing/configuring Concurrent Managers, Cloning, Patch management, Printer setup, troubleshooting apps related issues. 4) Monitor and optimize the performance of Oracle/Oracle Applications and the database as a unit. 5) Working on Oracle Application and Database of various releases.Application Installation: Install/ Configure tools and application, install third party tools 6) Responsible for the overall stability, performance, security and recoverability of the Oracle and Oracle Application databases. 7) Establish and maintain sound backup and recovery policies and procedures 8) Perform database / application tuning and performance monitoring 9) Establish, coordinate, and maintain databases and database environments for testing, production, training, and user demonstration. 10) Allocating system storage and planning future storage requirements for all database systems. 11) Create documentation for various processes as required by projects. 12) Experienced deploying Oracle technologies (e.g. Active Data Guard, ASM, OEM/Grid, RMAN, Oracle Streams / Golden Gate)) in mission critical highly available Production environments. 13) Experience in Performance Load Testing of Oracle OLTP Databases - SQL tuning and or PL/SQL debugging/tuning. Oracle OLAP (large analytics) tuning a huge plus. 14) Detailed in-depth Knowledge of Oracle Architecture, Framework, Technical Stack, Data Dictionary and DBMS Packages. 15) Experience configuring/supporting various interface adapters: File, FTP, AQ, MQ, JMS, EJB, ODBC, JDBC. 16) Experience working with Oracle Support Services to resolve issues and familiar with Oracle s escalation procedures to use as needed. 17) Experience implementing and deploying Directory Services (OID), Ideny & Access Management (OIM/OAM), and LDAP Single Sign-On (SSO). 18) Database Tuning/Monitoring/Health Checks/awr reports/admin reports 19) Leads large,. complex projects to achieve key business objectives. 20) Translates highly. complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences. 21) Ability to support 24/7 environment including working off-shift hours (nights and weekends) on-call rotation, etc. 22) Perform other related duties as igned.
