Position Description Summary :
Seeking for a senior Oracle Application Database Administrator with skills in Implementation and support of Oracle Applications R12 (12.1.3). Experience in Upgrade, Migration ,Installation and support of Oracle database 11g & Apps R12. DBA must have good experience on Performance tuning and quick problem identifying skills on EBS. Its good to have experience on an integrated platforms like Hyperion, OBIEE and Sales Tax products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
-Excellent problem solving skills with an ability to identify problems and implement corrective solutions. Resolve Production Support tickets with a quick turnover time. Actively monitor and improve performance of Financial Application.
-Migrate custom codes from Development to Production, Monitor billing cycles and pro-actively identify issues
-Install, Configure, upgrade Tax system and EBS to latest versions
-Document Support process using AIM documentation methodology. Monitor and create integration with Other Oracle products like Hyperion, Account Reconciliation Manager and Image processing systems.
Job Qualifications
Education: B.E in Computer science / M.C.A or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum 7+ years of IT experience in Database support on Oracle E-Business Suite R12 (12.1.3).
Installation, upgrades and managed services experience in Application (R12) and Database (11g, 12c).
Must be well versed with AD utilities.
Cloning and patching applications and databases.
Must have knowledge about concurrent managers.
Backup and clean up various log files.
Must be skilled in sysadmin activities like user administration responsibilities, request groups, register forms, printer setup, register custom applications, etc.
Implementing 24x7 production support procedures.
Manage, monitor and configuring workflow.
Creating database users and maintaining password rights.
Backup and recovery.
Expertise in RMAN, hot and cold backups.
Monitoring database using OEM and custom scripts.
Database lock, space management, export and import of the database, performance tuning at DB and apps Level.
Must have good troubleshooting skills.
Must have experience on a tax product viz CCH,Vertex,ADP.
Good to have shell or perl scripting experience.
Additional skills like OBIEE, WebLogic, SQL server, SOA, Agile, Hyperion, etc. are an added advantage.

Preferred to have OCA/OCP/OCE.
Knowledge in Tax related products and OBIEE.
