Position Summary
Rimini Street is responsible for scoping, designing, developing, and delivering software updates for a variety of tax, regulatory compliance, and reporting updates across more than 190 countries for Clients using our service. The Developer, Oracle EBS role will be responsible for translating the functional designs and analysis and creating technical designs that conforms to our standards and functional requirements. You will develop and unit test the code to meet Oracle EBS application requirements driven by the client’s business practice and related tax, regulatory & legislative changes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Design, develop and enhance software applications
• Assist with debugging and resolving code bugs
• Perform acceptance testing on Oracle environments of our clients
• Apply updates to client environments and perform unit testing
• Assist the Technical, Coding, and Business Analysis and QA teams with planning activities related to product specific Tax & Regulatory updates (i.e., bundle scheduling, project planning and tracking, etc.)
• Work closely with the QA and Business Analysis teams to ensure adherence to the functional specification and that all requirements are being satisfied
Education
• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience
Location: Hyderabad
Experience
• 10+ years extensive Technical design and development experience with Oracle EBS Finance / SCM product development or enhancement building.
• Understanding of other Oracle EBS product areas i.e. AP, AR, FA,CM,GL,PO,OM and EBTax is required
• A track record of successful roles in several Enterprise Application projects (including full development and full QA lifecycle processes)
• Knowledge of localizations: architecture, implementation and key functionality
• Understanding of Oracle UK Payroll application is big plus
• Experience creating and reviewing detailed technical documentation and unit test plans
• Familiarity with administrative tools i.e. Oracle AOL/FND
• Worked remotely in a virtual environment
• Well versed in P2P and O2C cycles
• Well versed in Finance and SCM modules
Skills
• In depth experience on PL/SQL, Oracle Report & BI Publisher, XML and Java/OAF code development
• In depth experience in Oracle Forms and Workflow
• Excellent knowledge in RICEW components
• Good knowledge in customizations
• Exposure to PRO*C code development
• Good understanding of Oracle EBS data model/ Open Interfaces/ Public API and other standard extensions
