Job Description
The Oracle ERP Functional Analyst Finance & Project Accounting is an Oracle R12 Subject Matter Expert and will be a key contributor in the IT organization acting as focal point for the MSC business users and their requirements. This individual will be part of an Oracle ERP team working along with Technical & Techno-functional analysts.
Responsibilities:
- Experience in the Oracle EBS modules Project Accounting (Costing and Billing)AP, AR, GL, FA, CE, EBuz Tax, Project Accounting (Costing and Billing).
- Configuration and customization of E-Business R12 Suite in these modules.Proper documentation of all application setups and configurations.
- Works on business user requests / tickets in our trouble ticket system.Works with our technical and functional team mates and with 3rd Party Oracle Support on root cause analysis in order to provide long term solutions.
- Works closely with our business users in terms of Requirements Gathering, Solution Design and creation of functional specifications including recommended solutions for Enhancements and Customizations requested by the business.Translates business process expectations into implementable ERP best practices.
- Facilitates meetings, document requirements, design and solutions of simple to complex undertakings.Builds test plans, facilitate testing with business, test solutions to ensure the systems meet functional and performance requirements; Assists in troubleshooting complex problems.Defines project scopes and time frames.
- Eliminates roadblocks and hurdles in delivering timely solutions to business.
- QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business or a related subject required. Master's preferred.Experience 6+ years of relevant ERP/EBS experience.
