Validate antivirus strategy for all elements of the IT environment, in accordance with the security policies and procedures. -Complete installation of all supported devices, including implementation, testing, reporting, alerting, and operational support resource training -Create, modify, test, and implement approved changes to supported devices based upon customer requirements -Verify system status and health including memory usage and disk space and validation of process execution -Maintain current standard operating procedures and documentation -Perform required and recommended system patching including: - Service pack application updates - Antivirus content updates -Communicate with vendors to solution and execute system changes -Provide vendor problem case management for on-going and critical production issues -Execute or oversee system back-up and restore testing procedures and processes -Research and remediate alerts for virus detections requiring action -Remediate device that are not compliant Intel or Desktop teams outlining remediation steps -Identify and provide countermeasures for virus / worm attacks This position is only available to those interested in direct staff employment opportunities with NTT DATA, Inc. or its subsidiaries.
Role Description:
• Define the security architecture, ensuring that it meets the business requirements and performance goals.
• Configuring and supporting endpoint security software solutions (Carbon black)
• Working on user issues through incident tickets and walking the user through email/call to ensure resolution with Carbon black support.
• Testing of Endpoint Protection on Windows, Mac OS and Linux systems.
• Handling virus threat outbreak, severity issues, Anti-virus software issues, Virus and hoax related requests, Malware or suspected malware infections.
• Monitor Carbon black site for information on new malicious code.
• Should have good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Working experience in configuring and supporting Carbon Black endpoint security software solutions.
• Endpoint Security Engineer will be working with a team that is responsible for implementing, maintaining and supporting endpoint security technologies, solutions, policies and standards.
• This role will have the responsibility of ensuring that endpoint security solutions, policies and emerging technology are on track to meet and respond to the ever-changing threat to our data and endpoint infrastructure.
• The Endpoint Security team is consisting evolving capabilities, processes and technologies.
• You must be willing to think out of the box and be comfortable taking educated risks to solve problems and provide solutions.
• Should be able to coordinate with all infra team and business team to address day to day security task.
• Prepare security service reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data and trends.
Must have Skills: Carbon black Endpoint Protection, McAfee EPO
Job Requirements: -
• Three to six years' experience with Carbon black Endpoint Protection.
• Three to six years' experience with McAfee Virus Scan, ePolicy Orchestrator -Three to six years' experience with McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention or Carbon black Host Intrusion Detection -Windows operating systems
