Job Description:The organization is looking for a passionate and strong Business Analyst for there software suite in Customs clearance and broking domain. You will features for each of the product roadmap item, establishing and communicating product requirements with Development and Testing Team, prototype development, prioritizing features, writing enhancements, and defining and tracking metrics as well as technology needed for business benefits. You will work closely with the Product and Delivery teams
Key Responsibilities:
• Domain experience:
o Solid experience in Indian and international trade Customs compliance process
o Good domain and business knowledge on Ports and shipping line payments for VAS shipments
o Knowledge on Ports and Customs Working Patterns.
o Good understanding of Import and export customs rules and regulations
o Understanding of freight forwarding activities is a good asset
• Gather feature requirements from customers and internal teams
• Work with the Architect and development team to ensure that they understand the specifications.
• Conduct business process modeling and generate applicable scenarios for the technology functionality testing team.
• Forward-thinker who can add value by comparing competitor on usage, feature addition thus being resourceful to ensure solutions are brought to fruition and requirements are bridged correctly
• Ability to problem solve and apply agile methodologies to prepare detailed specifications using case statements and related documentation
• Quick grasper of various work streams in the freight forwarding space; in specific to Customs and ability to comprehend appropriate workflows which can later be shared to the development team
• Work with user experience team, product team to create detailed feature specs, iterate prototypes, validate with stakeholders
• Work with training team to document system scenarios and identify roles impacted to help develop a training plan.
• Work directly with engineering team throughout the product development lifecycle. Good Understanding of software development cycles, product engineering and experience in using JIRA for product management, dashboards.
• Participate in workshops / demo / web sessions with the sales and / or with the prospects / customers
• Impart Training/ Overview on Product Modules/ Features
Candidate Profile:
• Bachelors/Masters degree
• 7+ years of Product experience with Enterprise software
• Minimum 3+ years of Logistics industry experience and Strong functional knowledge of Logistics and Customs(India)
• Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken English / Presentation/ Documentation)
• Familiarization of Digital Technologies
