We are currently looking for a PET Automation Specialist role to be filled in with our client which is one of the largest beverage manufacturing company in Africa.  Position - PET Automation Specialist Location - Lagos - Nigeria (role is a national position based in their HQ Lagos, however travelling throughout the country will be expected) Job Description: The PET Automation Specialist /Engineer will maintain bottle blowing equipment to a high standard in an effective manner, ensuring that safety, quality, & output targets are achieved.Responsible for automation maintenance and backup of the PET packaging lines including support utility equipment. A minimum of Bachelor of Engineering Degree (B.Eng.) or HND in Electronics/Automation or Electrical/ Mechanical Minimum of 7 years relevant hands-on experience on Sidel PET machines. Troubleshooting skills on Sidel Matrix blower or Sidel Universal Series 2 and electronic filler will be an advantage, focused on the newer technologies such as ERGO Bloc and Matrix lines, while also looking at highly skilled candidates with Combi line experience Fundamental knowledge on Roll Quattro Labeler operation& Maintenance, Elau Pac drives, Zenon Software & Profibus technology is preferred. Proficient on HMI modules for the machines. Package: - Offshore salary in USD and excellent expat benefits accompany this position.
