Job Description Designation: Manager - Information Technology Location: Dahej , Gujarat (Bharuch) Reporting to: BCIO Educational Qualification: Graduate (BCA/ B.Tech. /B.E. IT and M.E./ M.Tech./MCA) Experience Required: 10 to 15 years experience on ERP, Dashboard Tools (Power BI, Qlikview), Working experience on IIOT implementation, Barcode, Understanding of Manufacturing process, technical knowledge in Oracle SQL/PL SQL . Candidate should be fully exposed to Infra + Application (Oracle) + Budgeting + People Management Company Information: Leading Chemical Manufacturing Plant for Fluro Chemical Division. Fluro Chemical Division is positioned well in the domestic market and is currently building the same position in global markets for Refrigerant gases, Propellants and Industrial Chemicals.
JOB Purpose : To develop, implement and maintain IT enablement projects of business and corporate for FCBD. Plan and manage IT infrastructure of Dahej premises
Principal Accountabilities & Responsibilities :
1. Server & Application are always up - Daily ping the server IP and Application IP
- Daily ping the router and switches IP
- Daily ping the Network links
- Review with Wipro on daily basis, check list preparation, graph updation, patches updation, space monitoring in server
- Co-ordination with COS, TC, Network, C-IT, Data Center
- AMC renewal for UPS, Punching system
- Monthly report updation
- Patch updation
2. New applications & Reports are developed and implemented - Issue & need collection from users, leadership team, process heads, B-IT and by Audits
- Segregating the data's based on regular calls
- Develop, implement and provide training to users
- Benefit of the system
- Monthly report updation
3. Expenses are utilized at optimal level - Preparation of Unit IT budget during APC
- Budget Vs Actual Track and Reporting
- Capex Preparation and Execution
- Development of new vendors for material procurement and for service work
- Replacing the systems which often fails through capex
- Review of Expenses on monthly basis
- Monthly report updation
4. End users are facilitated through proper Infrastructure - Collection of requirement for infrastructure upgrade
- Budget the same through capex, expense
- Procure the items, lay the network lines
- Monthly report updation
5. IT Internal & External Audits - Compliance to Internal, External and CSA audit
- Provide data to auditors
- Take feedback on recommendations on audit findings
- Comply to the recommendations, develop and implement
- Close the audit findings and communicate
- Monthly report updation
6. IT support is always available on call for Application, Infrastructure and Facility management service - IT call registration system on daily basis
- Daily call status with open calls
- Training to users
- Gyan tips circulation to users
- Review with Wipro, COS, TC, C-IT, B-IT
- Monthly report and Graph updation
- Co-ordination with vendors
- Training to users
7. IT Asset Management - Manage of IT asset through IT asset register
- IT asset movement register
- IT asset addition, transfer and deletion in co-ordination with Finance
- Procurement of IT asset through Budgeted or Un budgeted capex
- Exercise E-waste procedure for obsolete items through sanction note
- Monthly report updation
8. Shopfloor Automation - Support design, development and implementation of shopfloor automation at Unit and Business level
9.IT systems are effectively utilized - Training to users by IT coordinator, COS, TC, Oracle Team, C-IT
- Preparation of IT user modules
- User Access control to the applications and review of the same by Segregation of Duties
- System approval definition based on Delegation of Power
- Effectiveness of IT training
- Monthly report updation
10. IT systems are effectively protected 1) Contacting IT security audit based on security questionnaire - Segregation of response questionnaire with followed, not followed, not applicable
- Derive action plan for the not followed items
- Make improvement plans to increase IT security score
- Incorporation of new points in the questionnaire
- Share the outcome to B-IT and update in Monthly report
- Training to users on IT security
- User and server data back up
11. IIOT Support - Support of IIOT systems deployed in the plant
12. Dashboard (3 Box, other misc business level dashboard) - Development of 3 Box graphs
- Writing program code to fetch the data.
- Monthly data migration from oracle to 3 box database.
- Development of Misc reports using qlik view, Power BI.
13. Business level applications Hardware management. - Middle ware servers
- Machine data integration, devices servers.
- Plant Wi-Fi devices for barcode and data loggers.
- Backup and DR servers for Middle ware.
- Barcode application data base
14. New Application Support : • Barcode •Middle Ware ( (Machine integration development) - Implementing new systems for resolving User issues / New requirements.
- Providing online solutions to existing -Users and linking with OPM.
- Documentation.
- Solving Issues.
- Plan for new upgrades.
- Connecting new machines procured data with barcode and middle ware.
- Providing training to new users on custom technology.
Decision Making Boundaries - Design and management of new processes around compliances e.g. Dymel
- To finalize Capex and R&M budget for business application with Business IT Team for FCB Dahej Unit.
- Design of software application for the process.
- Co-Ordinate with Common Oracle Service for Oracle apps open calls for unit.
- Developing new vendors in IT infrastructure segment .
- IT policy implementation in unit.
- Enhancing the compliance of information security
- IT asset purchase.
