Apply Now   Reply Dear Candidate, Hi, We have immediate job opening with Amazon Location :Hyderabad Job Title: Data Engineer External Job Description KEY SKILL: DATAMODEL With SQL PERFORMANCE TUNING EXP MUST - IN DATAWAREHOUSE , BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE EXP:8-15 YRS Play a lead role in the architecture, design, implementation and deployment of extremely large scale, critical, and complex data structures for business intelligence analysis taking into account the long term impact and performance considerations. Architect highly efficient data and reporting structures, making a tradeoff between scalability, performance and user functionality needs, using expert knowledge in data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, SQL, Databases, OLAP, and reporting tools, such as OBIEE and other emerging technologies. Independently gather business and functional requirements and translate these requirements into robust, scalable, operable solutions that work well within the overall data architecture. Architect Data Warehousing/Business Intelligence environments based on the evaluation of alternate solutions. Develop long term domain/technology strategies and significantly influence the process and standards associated with project engineering. Lead design reviews for other Data Engineers and offer feedback on design, integration, performance and scalability issues. Serve as a technical lead for medium and large projects and delegate assignments to team or cross functional participants. Serve as an authority in the area of technical and domain expertise and mentor, develop, and train junior data engineers. Basic Qualifications Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field plus 5 years of experience in the job offered or related occupations of Operations Research Analyst, Database Developer, Software Development Engineer, or another related occupation. Employer will accept a Bachelor"s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field plus 8 years of progressively responsible experience as equivalent to a Master"s degree and 5 years of experience. 3 years of experience must involve architecting, developing and operating extremely large-scale data structures in Oracle and Linux environments for business intelligence analytics using ETL/ELT processes, OLAP technologies, data modeling, SQL, Oracle, Perl, Java, XML, and business Intelligence tools, such as OBIEE, Cognos, or Microstrategy. Preferred Qualifications We are looking for Data Engineers who have a passion for data and a passion for supplying their clients with that data. You love working with analytic tools, providing a comprehensive platform for customers to access their data; understanding your customer"s challenges, you can partner with customers to invent great solutions, and you are an advocate for your customers. You are analytical and creative, and you don't quit.
