Job summary
The Red Hat IT team is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join us in Pune, India. In this role, youll work on a team as an Oracle E-Business Suite analyst who can setup, configure, and support some of the oracle Financial's solutions. You should have solis Financials implementation experience combined with a in-depth understanding of business requirements which can be translated into solution documents. You will use your skills to contribute to development of company objectives and principles and to achieve goals in creative and effective ways. Your work will impact the success of design and selling and contribute to future concepts, solutions, and technologies at Red Hat. We are seeking an experienced functional expert who has extensive knowledge of the R12 Oracle E-Business Suite Financials family of applications.
Primary job responsibilities
Resolve complex issues, analyze situations and data that require a detailed evaluation of variable factors
Exercise good judgment in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria
Determine methods and procedures for new assignments, provide guidance to other associates
Perform setups of Oracle E-Business Suite Financials software
Define new business requirements and provide gap analyses
Prepare detailed functional specifications for extensions, interfaces, reports, and conversions (MD50s and TE40s) and for the quality assurance (QA)
Support production, monitor, troubleshoot, and initiate system processes
Initiate and follow through on Oracle service requests
Complete application setups to support, conversions, and interface extension testing
Develop and deliver end user training
Required skills
5+ years of work experience with Oracle E-Business Suite Financials modules and broad experience implementing them globally; experience with the R12 version and the ability to configure it optimally is a big plus
Experience working with and understanding of complex financial integrations like banking, treasury, and reporting in U.S. GAAP and other regions like Latin America (LATAM,) Asia Pacific (APAC), and Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA)
Knowledge of Oracle E-Business Financials Suite modules like AP, AR, GL, E-Business Tax, FA, PO, PA, OTL, and knowledge of supporting modules is a plus
Working knowledge of the underlying data model in Oracle software to support analysis and issue resolution
Experience with similar tools like SAP BusinessObjects (BO), Reports Wand or Noetix, or other reporting tools
Ability to work with a technical team and understand and communicate technical requirements
Ability to manage a cross-functional team consisting of technical and non-technical associates working in different timezones
Solid communication skills
Motivated and customer-focused
Knowledge of the 'Core Financial' process tracks (R2R &P2P)
Technical knowledge and the ability to use SQL developer
Background in accounting is an advantage
Project management experience is a plus
